Cunninghame Housing Association working with Miller Homes, have delivered 29 new reasonable homes for rent at Irvine Road, Kilmaurs. This is the Association’s first development with Miller Homes, and we are delighted with the quality of these new homes. Our houses for rent sit within a larger Miller Homes area. The rest of the properties on the development are for private sale.
Works were finished in July 2023 and the project offers a range of well-designed homes. These include cottage flats, general needs houses and bungalows designed to meet those with wheelchair needs.
The homes have been shared from the East Ayrshire Common Housing register and have been received by our new tenants.
Linda Anderson, our Acting CEO, showed her enthusiasm for the new houses. The quality and finish of these new properties is of an excellent standard. Being able to build with Miller Homes has allowed us to create new homes in a highly desirable location.
These new homes were supported by the Scottish Government and East Ayrshire Council with £2.34 million awarded to the project.
