On Thursday 9 August we held our Family Fun Day for Dumfries & Galloway at Newington Leisure Centre in Annan. The event was well attended by tenants and locals and a great day was had by all who took part in face painting, bouncy castles and teacups, exploring Fire engines and Police vans, Kingdom Creatures and trying to beat the goalie from Queen of the South.
We had stands from Kate’s Kitchen, Citizen Advice Centre, Lemonaid and D&G Council Community Safety Team who were on hand to offer advice and guidance and even a guest the sweeties in the jar competition. Tesco very kindly donated crisps, juice and sweeties for the event.
