CHA Completes 28 New Affordable Homes at Ardoch Court, Stevenston

Councillor Jimmy Miller conducted the opening ceremony to mark the start of the Association’s new build project at Ardoch Court in Stevenston.

Cunninghame Housing Association marked the end of their new build housing development at Ardoch Court, Stevenston. They asked Councillor Jimmy Miller to conduct the official closing ceremony where he planted a tree.

The area has delivered a total of 28 new houses and flatted homes for reasonable rent. It is made up of two and three-bedroom, general needs houses. There are four amenity cottage flats with the ground floor properties designed specifically for those with wheelchair needs.

This £3.8m development was delivered with North Ayrshire Council and the Scottish Government. £2.2m of Scottish Government Grant being made available to support the delivery of the project.

The contractor was a local firm, McLaughlin Construction.

The new homes at Ardoch Court are a show of what working together and funding can achieve’’.

Councillor Jimmy Miller commented. Ardoch Court is another high-quality housing development delivered by Cunninghame Housing Association. Given this continuing 30 year long-standing relationship between North Ayrshire Council and Cunninghame Housing Association. I hope that Cunninghame Housing Association will give high quality rented homes on the empty area at Garven Road. (old Ardeer Primary School site) within my Ward.
