National Trust Easter Egg Hunt

The National Trust for Scotland will host Easter egg hunts at various heritage sites and parks across Scotland. In Ayrshire, you can join the fun at:

Brodick Castle, Garden & Country Park from Friday, April 18th to Monday, April 21st, between 10 AM and 4 PM (last entry at 4 PM). Pick up a trail leaflet and follow the path to enjoy a delicious chocolate treat. On Sunday, April 20th, there will be even more Easter-themed activities. Entry is £23.00 for a family and £17.00 for a one-adult family. Trail leaflets are available for £5 each.

Robert Burns Birthplace Museum will also be hosting an event from Friday, April 18th to Monday, April 21st, from 10 AM to 5 PM (last entry at 4 PM). Follow the trail, solve puzzles, and collect clues to earn a chocolate prize. Each day, five golden eggs will be hidden along the trail—find one and bring it to reception for a special bonus prize! Entry is £29.00 for a family and £20.00 for a one-adult family. Trail sheets are available for £5.89 each.

Heads of Ayr and Dobbies Garden Centre

Heads of Ayr farm park will be hosting their own easter themed events during the easter weekend with various activities. Take part in an easter egg trail, meet the easter bunny in his burrow, play games with Act About theatre company and spend time with springtime animals.

Dobbies Garden Centre will be hosting an easter bunny breakfast from the 18th until the 21st of April, and an easter afternoon tea party on the 17th and 21st of April. Families can join for breakfast or afternoon tea followed by activities and games. Children will also be given a Malteser mini chocolate bunny during the event. Tickets are £11.99 per child and £8.75 per adult.

Drumlanrig Castle

Drumlanrig Castle in the Dumfries & Galloway area will host an Easter event from Saturday, March 29th to Saturday, April 19th. The event includes an Easter trail with fun activities. Collect hidden letters, solve the mystery word, and earn a reward! Tickets are £8 for children over 5 and £4 for children under 5.

On Easter Sunday, April 20th, there will be a Funday with games, bouncy castles, and face painting. Easter Sunday family tickets are £25 for up to 2 adults and 2 children, or £30 for up to 2 adults and 3 children.
