Financial Inclusion
Our Financial Inclusion Team give advice and support to our residents around financial problems. These are: income maximisation, access to welfare benefits, how to access proper debt advice, financial products. Services such as basic bank accounts, credit unions and reasonable low cost loans and increasing financial ability.
We give advice on fuel poverty through our Lemon Aid service. They can help you apply for services such as crisis support, restoring energy and many other services.
Our aim is to improve peoples income, to help keep their homes.

You'll also need your bank account details. Depending on how you apply, you may also be asked for your bank or building society name, sort code and account number.
The Department for Work and Pensions plan is to have all households currently claiming legacy benefits to have moved across to Universal Credit by the end of 2029.
If your benefits are normally paid between 29th and 1st of the month, you should expect to get your benefit money on Thursday 28 March instead.
For Debt Awareness Week we are encouraging tenants to tackle their debts head on by seeking debt and budgeting advice from our Financial Inclusion Officer.
As well as this our financial inclusion officer and Lemon Aid Fuel Poverty team will be in attendance to assist you with anything that you may need.
Your child could be eligible if they were born between 1 March 2018 and 28 February 2019 and your family receives Universal Credit, tax credits or other qualifying benefits.
