The Coronavirus Jobs Retention Scheme was due to end 31 October 2020. It was said to be replaced by the Job Support Scheme from November 2020. The UK government has confirmed that:
The Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme – also known as Furlough – will stay open until December. Employees will receive 80 per cent of their current pay for hours not worked, up to a maximum of £2,500. The Job Support Scheme has been postponed until the furlough scheme ends.
