Garven Road, Stevenston – Opening Ceremony

The Association are delighted to announce that work has started on our new development at Garven Road in Stevenston.  Ground was broken on Wednesday 20th September and will see the delivery of 20 new homes, each home designed with the needs of residents in mind.

The event was attended by local dignitaries including Cllr. Marie Burns, Leader of North Ayrshire Council, Cllr John Sweeney and Cllr Davina McTiernan of North Ayrshire Council; Janet Strang, Chairperson of Cunninghame Housing Association and members of the Association’s Board of Management.

Upon completion, Garven Road will offer a mix of accommodation and house types:

  • 17 Two Bedroom General Needs Homes:
  • 1 Three Bedroom General Needs Homes
  • 1 Two Bedroom Amenity Bungalow:
  • 1 Two Bedroom Wheelchair Accessible Bungalow

With wheelchair accessible and amenity housing included, this new development will meet the needs of waiting list applicants, providing much needed accommodation in this part of Stevenston.
