Lockerbie Squash & Racketball Club

FUNDS BOOST . . . David Lindsay, left, and Harry Earl, right, from Lockerbie Squash were delighted to accept a cheque on behalf of the club for £500 this week. It was presented to the club from development manager at Cunninghame Housing Association Callum Adam as part of the company's Making our communities better places fund

On 3rd October 2019 Callum Adam, Development Manager of Cunninghame Housing Association presented a cheque for £500 to the Lockerbie Squash & Racketball Club in Dumfries & Galloway to assist them with funding from the Associations “Making Our Communities Better Places Fund” which from 1st April 2019 to 31st March 2020.

The club are organising a week-long come and try session of squash and racketball to fit in with the World Squash Day 2019 which will be open to all ages.

Frank Sweeney, Group Chief Executive commented “We are delighted to be able to support a local club which encourage exercise and offer opportunities for social interaction to lonely and isolated people as well as trying out a new sport.”
