We have more than 3000 properties in North and East Ayrshire and Dumfries and Galloway and an ambitious development programme of more than 1000 units over the next 5 years. We aim to achieve excellence in service delivery to our customers and we are now seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join our Group Chief Executive Department to manage our Lemon Aid and Fuel Poverty Services: –

POST: Operations Manager CHA Lemon Aid / Fuel Poverty Services (3 Year Fixed Term Contract)

SALARY: £35,000 – £37,000

Hours Per Week: 35hrs per week

Our Lemon Aid / Fuel Poverty Services offers clients in Ayrshire and Dumfries & Galloway advice to specifically help and support them to assist those in fuel poverty, and/or prevent households falling into fuel poverty by advocating on their behalf. This invaluable service also helps clients apply for other services they may be entitled to such as white goods schemes, discounts on energy bills, benefits and many other services.

Reporting to the Group Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for managing the Lemon Aid / Fuel Poverty Services function to ensure the delivery of a high quality, fully transparent service to domestic customers. You will ensure a timeous and effective delivery of support to customers in the form of energy advice, benefit/income maximisation checks, referrals and advocacy services to address fuel poverty issues.

Ideally you will have an appropriate level of management experience and/or a recognised management qualification and will have a proven track record of producing results and delivering a high level of customer service. Knowledge of Energy Industry Standards and Regulations and experience in working in a similar environment would be advantageous but a comprehensive training will be delivered to ensure that the candidate is able to manage this service to a high standard. (A full driving licence is essential for this post).
