This area of the old Lockerbie Academy was bought by the Association in January 2018. We delivered a total of 45 new houses and flats for rent. Works started in June 2020. New tenant’s started moving into homes from June 2021 with full area finished in October 2021.

Collective Architecture was bought by Cunninghame Housing Association in 2018. They developed proposals for a brownfield area north of Lockerbie town centre, previously home to Lockerbie Academy.
The aim was to create a homes of different types and sizes. This will cater for the broad needs of the local community. Before the Lockerbie Academy development, no new social housing had been built in Lockerbie since the 1980s.
The design includes 45 new homes for social rent. These include semi-detached, terraced two-storey housing, three wheelchair-adapted properties, cottage flats and amenity bungalows.
