Cunninghame Housing Association, in partnership with Miller Homes, have completed 29 new affordable homes for rent in Kilmaurs.
Work on the houses for rent was completed in July 2023. The work started on site in May 2021
This is the association’s first development with Miller Homes and they are delighted with the quality of the new accommodation.
The affordable housing for rent sits within a larger Miller Homes development with the rest of the houses on the estate being for private sale.
The 29 homes consist of 4no. 2 bedroom ground floor amenity cottage flats, 4no. 2 bedroom upper floor cottage flats, 15no. 2 bedroom terrace houses, 4no. 3 bedroom terrace houses and 2no. 2 bedroom bungalows designed for wheelchair user.
The delivery of the rented homes was supported by the Scottish Government and East Ayrshire Council with a total of £2.34 million in government grant awarded to the project.
