Laughter, joy, and holiday spirit filled the air at St. Mary’s chapel hall as families and friends gathered for a spectacular event that brought together the young and the young-at-heart. The venue buzzed with excitement as Little and Large, masters of entertainment, led the crowd through a whirlwind of lively games, dancing, and non-stop fun.
Children and adults alike were swept up in the excitement, participating in the lively prize party games and dancing, ensuring that every single person was involved and having a great time.
The buffet provided by the Cheery Cup added to the merriment, offering a spread of hot snacks, savory soups, sandwiches, and festive cakes.
During the break from the lively singing and dancing unexpected visitor made an entrance—the mischievous Grinch!
Despite causing a bit of chaos, the Grinch’s antics only added to the excitement, especially for the children who found his antics utterly delightful.
Amidst the festivities, the highlight of the day was when the beloved Santa Claus himself appeared, spreading joy as he distributed selection boxes to each and every child present.
The event continued to spread joy through its generous raffle prizes. Lucky winners walked away with a variety of fantastic gifts, including a Christmas hamper filled with festive delights, a £150 voucher for Cunninghame Furniture Recycling Company, and an air fryer that brought smiles to the faces of those who were fortunate enough to win.
But the spirit of giving didn’t stop there. Warm clothing, hooded blankets, and throws were distributed to ensure warmth and comfort during the chilly winter days ahead.
In addition to the festivities, the event aimed to offer valuable support to the community. Practical advice on financial management and energy-saving tips were shared by dedicated individuals from various organizations, including our Financial Inclusion officer, Cunninghame Furniture Recycling Company (CFRC), LemonAid, and the Foodbank based in the Nazarene Church, Ardrossan. Their guidance was invaluable in assisting attendees in navigating the challenges of the winter season with greater ease.
