Tass Thistle FC is a community club founded in 1984. Team members range from 5 – 16 years old. Both boys and girls play in Local Leagues and Cups. The 2015 Tass Thistle Team needed some support to assist with in buying new training kits. The team carries out their own fundraising where they can. However this proves to be more and more difficult given the current climate.
The Association gave support to the 2015 team to help to buy new training kits for the young players. This lifts the thought of buying new strips, for the Club and the parents. The young players train twice a week and play most weekends therefore the kits will prove very useful.
The funding for Tass Thistle Football Club 2015’s came from the Associations “Making Our Communities Better Places Fund. It runs throughout the year (1st April to 31st March) until the shared funding is exhausted.
The Association are pleased to support Tass Thistle Football Club 2015’s which encourages young people to stay fit and healthy whilst teaching them how to work as a team and build social skills.
